Cleaning Your Face Jewelry

All you need is a paper towel and some rubbing alcohol.

Fold the paper towel into quarters so that it holds moisture better.

Wet the paper towel with the rubbing alcohol and use the wet area to gently clean the face jewelry lights.

Keeping the light panel flat to avoid tearing it, press the back of the lights into the wet part of the paper towel and use your thumb to rub in a gentle circular motion.

The rubbing alcohol will soften and dissolve any glue and make up still left on the back of the lights.

As your paper towel gets dirty, you can fold it over to use a cleaner side.

Reapply rubbing alcohol as needed and remember to use the part of the paper towel with the rubbing alcohol on it.

After you have gotten off the majority of the dirt, you may need to check on the back of the lights as you work to find any stubborn areas you may need to focus on.

Sometimes as the makeup and glue softens, it can become gummy and the alcohol will just continue to soften it. When it gets like this, it is ok to use a dry part of the paper towel to wipe off the gummy residue, just remember to be gentle.
