The Inverter Powers on, But The Boot Does Not Light up
This problem can also manifest as the light on the boot turning on or off inconsistently and is likely due to a weak or damaged connection.
Check for loose connections in the following places:
- Wires coming out of the battery pack.
- Wires going into the connectors between the light and the battery pack.
- Wires going into the light.
If there are loose wires on the light side of the connectors, let us know so we can repair it.
If there are any loose wires on the side of the connectors that the battery pack is connected to,
try a replacement inverter to verify if it’s a bad inverter.

The Inverter Powers on Momentarily, Then Immediately Turns off
This problem can also manifest as the inverter power indicator light turning on while you hold the button, but the light on the boot does not light up.
Disconnect the battery pack and use a pair of sharp scissors to clip a little bit off the end of the light (4).
If the problem persists, we may need to send the boots to our LA office for repairs.
